Tahko is considered the best skiing resort in southern and central Finland. Out of 23 skiing slopes there are almost half of the slopes stretching 1000 meters with 200 meters of level difference. You will for sure find a place for skiing!

Tahko takes the third place among the centres in Finland in the number of ascents on reels after such popular skiing resorts in Northern Finland Ruka and Levi. It attracts Russian tourists by a comfortable position concerning the borders with Russia (280 km) and 60 km from the town Kuopio (north-west Finland).
